Ms. Llaudy is a trial lawyer with a practice concentrating on the areas of health law, corporate transactions and general litigation. She has experience representing national and international clients in multi-million-dollar litigations, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, CHUBBS, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and AIG. She has been a trial and managing attorney at various prestigious Miami firms.Currently, she focuses on representing Home Health Agencies, Health Care Clinics, Assisted Living Facilities, CORFs, Pharmacies, Durable Medical Equipment companies, Community Mental Health Centers, Managed Care Organizations, Physicians, Chiropractors and general medical practices with all aspects of managing their medical businesses, including licensing, mergers and acquisitions, Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) issues, Medicare and Medicaid overpayments and reviews.
Additionally, Dagmar handles all types of real estate transactions, litigation, 1031 property exchanges and escrow disputes. Ms. Llaudy assists clients as a full-service real estate closing and title agent. She has years of experience in closing residential and commercial properties. Additionally, Ms. Llaudy has extensive experience in handling Small Business Administration (“SBA”) loans and is an approved closer for these transactions.
Dagmar obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Florida International University with a dual major of Management and International Business. She attended the University of Miami School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor. Dagmar is a licensed member of the Florida Bar since 2000 and admitted to practice in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida Federal Bar. She has obtained AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, a peer review rating for the highest level of professional excellence. In addition, to her professional accolades, Dagmar serves on the board of Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services, a residential facility for youth in crisis and has serves as the Gala Chair their annual event. Dagmar is fluent in English and Spanish and takes pride in providing stellar representation to her international clientele in their native language.
Jocelyn Caneda has been with our firm since 2011. She is originally from Miami, Florida. After joining the firm in 2011, Ms. Caneda obtained her certification in Paralegal Studies from the University of Miami.
Ms. Caneda serves our firm as its litigation and real estate paralegal. Jocelyn ably handles numerous litigation tasks including, but not limited to, motion practice, gathering and analyzing discovery documents and preparing cases for trial. In addition, Ms. Caneda works on our real estate matters and prepares files for successful closings. She handles lien and title searches and is always happy to provide all parties involved in the transaction with status and information. Jocelyn also handles post-closing and file management for our firm. Ms. Caneda prides herself on knowing every client by name and is dedicated to applying her passion, experience, and knowledge in assisting every client of the Law Offices of Dagmar Llaudy, P.A. Jocelyn is fluent in both English and Spanish and ably assists our international clientele.
Ms. Ballester has been at our firm since 2005. She is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate, Estate Planning and Civil Litigation Department. Jaclyn has extensive experience in the real estate field handling all types of real estate legal issues, including but not limited, residential and commercial closings, landlord-tenant issues, association violations, and escrow disputes. Ms. Ballester was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating high school, Ms. Ballester attended Florida International University where she made Dean’s List each year and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
After a few years of working as a paralegal with the firm, Jaclyn attended Florida International University College of Law where she once again made Dean’s List each year and earned her Juris Doctorate Degree. During her time at FIU College of Law, Jaclyn was a member of numerous clubs including Cuban American Bar Association- Student Division. Jaclyn was admitted to practice law in 2017 and is a member of the Florida Bar. Ms. Ballester is currently a committee member for the Miami Bridge Gala Committee and is a crucial part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to our community.
